The Thank You Present

This one's my absolute favourite of Allam's radio stuff. It's such a subtle but powerful performance and has me in tears pretty much every time I listen (and I'm generally heartless with things like that). Listen to it, but with tissues at the ready.

Definitely agree with your assessment. It is also one of my favorites.

I always prefer the short, dramatized stuff. So far, I have not managed to finish a single novel Roger's read. His voice is so soothing that I am always drifting off ....
